Why Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott aren't planning to get married two years after their engagement
Zooey Deschanel And Jonathan Scott shared a new look at their special property.
The longtime couple, who got engaged in 2023, welcomed Architectural Digest to their New York City apartment to tour their vintage-meets-modern home.
The tour began in the entryway where they greet their guests and ride the elevator up to their living space, and the first look included floral wallpaper, moody green crown molding, gold accents and a chandelier.
“Nothing is more important than a first impression,” the HGTV star said on the program video from October 8“and we really wanted to greet our guests with something interesting and exciting.”
He also put his knowledge of contractors to good use as they created stunning high ceilings after the move.
“Originally the ceiling height here was less than eight feet. He was so low. He was right here,” he added. “And it was all just wasted. So we picked it up. We added a crown, a striking device that attracts the eye. The arch is actually my favorite thing. But this is just a hint of what you will see inside.”
Upon entering the actual apartment, the space continues to be filled with more “magical” frescoes and wallpapers, as well as classical and artistic stucco on the walls and ceiling. The actress shared, “This place looked nothing like it does now.”
