Zoo ‘excited’ to welcome its first potoroo joey

The zoo said that “so excited” in order to first notice Joi's resouro in his corps.

The Marwell Zoo, not far from the Winchester in Hampshire, said that the tiny southern long -tower of Reporo Joei was probably three months old, but it was just noticed that he was only plunging into a bag with her first mother.

Night marsups are relatives for southeastern Australia and resemble small Wallabi.

Arun Selby, primates and guardians of small mammals in Marwell, said: “This is a great opportunity to study because we did not have children's popularity here before.”

He added: “We are not sure of its floor, because we have not seen him much, except that we jumped out to join Feeds.

“He was outside the bag, running around, having his own Zoomies.”

He said that you would only see if it was “fleeting”, but the zoo was “so excited” and “cannot wait to see how it grows up.”

The protective mother of Truffle and Pope Neville built two nests in the corps, in which they also hide the child.

Potoroo JoEys begins the size of a jelly beans in a bag of their mother, and Marwell believes that now Truffle was pregnant, she will almost constantly give birth to children until she can.
