Zohran Mamdani’s 9/11 Comments Show He’s Feeling Himself, and You Can’t Fathom How Bad It’s Going to Get – RedState

Barring something catastrophic, Zoran Mamdani will be the next mayor of New York, and he's starting to realize it. It's hard to say that the mask was ever really put on the 33-year-old non-populist communist son who has never held real office, but with his latest moves all pretense is now falling aside.

After all, why should he care about maintaining broad appeal when he's running in one of the country's most left-leaning cities, whose voters seem more than happy to hand him the keys no matter what radical positions he takes? However, understand that this goes beyond general policy differences regarding rent control and government grocery stores. The same Islamic radicalization that we saw in places like London is now on the menu in the Big Apple, and Mamdani is no longer afraid to show that this is his goal.

Notice what's happening here.

This attempt at role reversal is deliberate. This is a deliberate move by the government to reframe the worst terrorist attack in American history, carried out by Islamic terrorists, as a referendum on the United States. You've probably seen Norm Macdonald's joke about this, but the funny thing is that it wasn't really satire. It underscored a very real political strategy designed to normalize radical ideology disguised as religion while marginalizing anyone who might stop and think about what the consequences would be.

Unfortunately, much of this was started by former President George W. Bush, who, after 9/11, did everything he could to proclaim Islam as a “religion of peace,” despite its doctrines and history making it very clear to the contrary. His misguided and naive campaign to win “hearts and minds” has created an environment not for “Islamophobia” to emerge, but for Americans to cower, afraid to dare question everything they have seen about Islam, both at home and abroad.

We can now see the results of this as radicalism flourishes and Muslims wear their desire for victory on their sleeves. This is how Mamdani proudly offers support to the imam who was an innocent accomplice in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and who called for the creation of an Islamic state in America. The barriers were taken down and thrown into the sea because too many Americans had convinced themselves that it was “bigotry” to oppose such things.

Of course, Mamdani uses this accusation as a weapon as his confidence in victory grows.

I have broke the statistics before showing that “Islamophobia” is hardly more widespread than anti-Catholicism and in no way comparable to anti-Semitism when it comes to hate crimes. Yet it is constantly treated as a national (and international) epidemic. Again, this is purposeful. Seizing power and further Islamization requires defeating opponents to the point where they cannot fight back. If you convince enough people that their rejection of Islamic ideals is fanaticism, they will eventually rush to the polls to vote for oblivion. This is exactly what we have seen in Europe and, unfortunately, most of these countries have probably reached the point of no return.

What's about to happen in New York is the canary in the coal mine. It doesn't end there, and Islam does not hide the essence of its goal. As has always been the case throughout its history, it means to conquer and take control.

Editor's note: The Schumer shutdown is here. Instead of putting the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the Radical Democrats pushed for a government shutdown of health care to illegal immigrants. They own it.
