HoYovers brought new energy to The Game Awards 2025 with the unveiling of a stunning new trailer for Zenless Zone Zero. The display showcased future agents Ye Shongguang and Zhao. Along with a first look at the mysterious and dreamy faction of the Angels of Illusions.
Zenless Zone Zero takes place in a world changed by cataclysmic events known as the Hollows. In New Eridu, the last refuge of modern civilization, players take on the role of a Proxy who works with a diverse group of agents. Together, they penetrate unstable Hollow zones, confront powerful enemies, carry out errands, and search for a deeper truth. The game creates a lively atmosphere with crisp art direction and a responsive combat system that combines style and clarity. As well as a detailed depiction of everyday life in a futuristic metropolis.
The new trailer features the global gameplay debut of Ye Shunguang, the Void Hunter from Yunkui Summit. She is the first agent in the game to use a dual fighting style. She can seamlessly switch between two modes that emphasize sharp swordsmanship, aerial mobility, and brutal finishing strikes. The trailer also featured Zhao, a quick-witted Trien rabbit known for his ability to fight with a heavy ax and his keen instincts. It ended with a stylish nod to a future live performance related to Angels of Delusion, suggesting that major plot developments are on the horizon.
