A TV commercial shows a young man relying on his phone to learn how to change his baby's diaper. Why use common sense to solve problems when you can just ask for your phone number?

More and more I see people calling up their phones for the simplest things. Eventually people will not be able to think for themselves.

I'm glad I learned to figure things out the old fashioned way. Using your head.

So once again we have the NDP with only seven seats now playing kingmaker with an ultimatum to Mark Carney demanding what it wants or else! Let's face it, the NDP is in dire financial straits and leaderless, so it doesn't want an election, which is just bragging. Therefore, Carney knows full well that NDP support for his budget is guaranteed.

Let's hope the voters who put us in this situation again continue to enjoy more of what they've seen over the last decade.

Regarding the speed camera issue, it is noteworthy that I have received two such tickets in the last few years. The first was for driving at 54 km/h in a school zone on Meadowlands Drive in the “summer” when the camera was first installed.
