FREEDOM IS UNDER ATTACK AGAIN
Contents of the article
Justin Trudeau's government has passed legislation directly aimed at restricting freedom of speech. He also invoked the Emergency Situations Act and froze protesters' bank accounts. Mark Carney's government has stepped up its attack on our hard-won freedoms.

Bill C2 would give this government sweeping powers to spy on personal information under the guise of border security. Bills C8 and C9 specifically seek to severely restrict freedom of speech.
A few months after Carney took office, rather than prioritizing new trade agreements and fighting Trump's tariffs, Carney's priority became controlling what citizens could say.
This smacks of authoritarianism!

NEED EVEN MORE CAMERAS
Doug Ford's claim that speed cameras don't slow down drivers only shows us that he rarely looks out the back window of his limo while driving around Toronto.

All of us real drivers know very well that people understandably learn to remember to slow down in places where they know there is a camera ready to give them an expensive ticket. I don't think people should be warned that they may have to obey traffic laws by posted warning signs.
Since police rarely enforce traffic laws like they used to, I'd like to see hundreds more of these cameras everywhere. Not only will the streets be much safer, but we will also have a much calmer driving experience.
Personally, I would like to see cameras installed once every kilometer on our Queensway. Can you imagine how great it would be to have fewer idiot drivers passing you in the slow lane at 80 mph?
And for him to say that this is just collecting taxes means getting rich. Don't you think that the leader who helped increase our debt would be grateful that there is additional income coming from guilty speakers?
