In 2025 I reviewed a very cool Xreal One Augmented reality (AR) glasses, which I call a traveler's best friend. However, the AR glasses company has upped its game with the new Xreal 1s.
The Xreal 1s is a mid-gen upgrade designed to replace the Xreal One at a more affordable price. Xreal 1S delivers a cinema-grade immersive experience and can project an average 171-inch spatial screen while improving its performance over its predecessor.
The Xreal 1s increases resolution to 1200p and increases brightness from 600 nits to 700 nits, and also increases standard RGB from 100 to 108 percent, as well as increasing the field of view from 50 degrees to 52 degrees and supporting a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. In addition, Xreal 1S supports Sound by Bose technology and is equipped with the X1 spatial computing chip.
It's even slightly more affordable than the Xreal One, down from $499 to $449 ($687 to $618). Xreal 1S is now available on Amazon in the US; Availability in Canada is unclear.
