Clear all aliens in Xenopurge
Xenopurge, the Aliens-inspired tactical auto-battler, officially launches today with its full 1.0 version on Steam. Developed by Traptics and published by Firequid, the game retails for $12.49 and €12.49 with a one-week launch discount of 30%, inviting players into an intense fight for humanity.
Xenopurge has already attracted attention in the indie scene. It recently won the Most Innovative Game award at Indie X 2025 and has also been nominated for the upcoming GWB Game Awards. Steam players have also supported the game, giving it a very positive review during its time in Early Access.
A significant amount of new content has been added to the full version. The highlight is the Bioweave Cell squad, a team created to collect the DNA of enemies to unlock evolving bio-modifications. This squad focuses on balancing risk and reward, offering new tactical depth. The update also introduces a full story campaign, expanded difficulty options, and four variants per squad, giving players sixteen starting loadouts. New commands and weapons round out the package, expanding the range of strategic choices.
Xenopurge follows a distinctive cassette futuristic style, drawing inspiration from classic Hollywood tropes of industrial science fiction. Players take on the role of a remote commander running MACE, Mercers Advanced Combat Enterprises, controlling from a series of monochrome screens. Each mission sends elite units into hostile facilities overrun by alien threats. Progress depends on how effectively players direct their squad to search rooms, capture objectives, and eliminate anything that stands in their way.
Every decision shapes the outcome. Equipment upgrades, smart positioning, and careful team selection will determine whether a squad can advance or be overwhelmed. You are not physically on the battlefield, but the responsibility for every life rests solely on your shoulders.
