Xbox Cloud Gaming finally comes to Amazon Fire TV

Microsoft's partnership with Amazon is expanding as it was announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming will be coming to the latter's line of smart TVs.

Most notably, the latest Fire TV 4-Series and Fire TV Omni QLED Series now come with a built-in Xbox app, with plans to add the app to additional models in the future. This now gives FireTV users more access to Microsoft's vast catalog of video games, while also avoiding clogging other outlets or HDMI ports with Game Pass.

If you have a compatible Fire TV, you can download the Xbox app from Amazon's dedicated app store. After installation, you will be asked to sign in using your Microsoft account.

Compared to when it was First announced for the Fire TV Stick back in June.Game Pass Premium and Game Pass Essential subscribers can now access the service through their Amazon devices. Plans start at $13.99 per month.

Note: You will also need a compatible Bluetooth controller. According to Amazon, the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, DualSense, or DualShock 4 work fine.

With this service you can now access and broadcast various games to your Fire TV smart TV, for example The Outer Worlds 2, Call of Duty Black Ops 7, FC 25, Gears of War Reloaded, And Grounded 2.
