WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda in hospice care

WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda is in hospice care.according to his friends and family.

“It breaks my heart to tell you that my friend Mike Rotunda placed under hospice care“former WWE wrestler Leilani Kai posted on social media Tuesday morning along with a photo of them hugging earlier this year.

“Please pray for Mike and the Rotunda family. We love you Mike,” she said.

Barry Windham, Rotunda's son-in-law and former WWE tag team partner, told about his condition over the weekend at a convention in Florida.

“It's pretty tough…Mike is in hospice right now,” he said in an interview with wrestling journalist Bill Apter. “Anyway, this family – I love this family. But it's so tragic.”

Neither Kaye nor Windham provided further information about what led to Rotunda being admitted to hospice care, but said the situation is especially sad given the loss the family has already suffered.

In 2023, Rotunda's son, Windham Rotunda, who fought as Bray Wyatt died of a heart attack at the age of 36 years. Another son, Taylor Rotunda, wrestles in WWE under the name Bo Dallas and his alter ego Uncle Howdy.

During his decades in professional wrestling, Rotunda was known for his partnerships with teams such as US Express with Windham and Money Inc. as Irwin R. Schyster (aka IRS) with Ted “Million Dollar Man” DiBiase. He also wrestled as Michael Wallstreet.

Rotunda was also part of the NWO stable in WCW and wrestled for promotions such as NJPW and NWA.

Near Wyndham Rotunda was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2024..
