Witness in Victoria JonesAt the scene of her death, first responders were told she had been using cocaine before her death… TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … when authorities arrived at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco on Thursday morning, they saw a blue tint on Victoria's lips and fingertips and immediately suspected she had overdosed on drugs.
We're told a witness told first responders that Victoria had been using cocaine that night.
Our sources say she was at the hotel with a group of three to four people, and the group told first responders they were on site celebrating New Year's.
We broke history… Victoria was several skirmishes with the law before her death, including an arrest for drug possession when police say she told officers she had been using cocaine.
She was also arrested months later after an alleged domestic dispute turned violent… with a man accusing her of hitting him after they argued about her drug use.
As you know… San Francisco Fire Department officials were called to the Fairmont Hotel around 3 a.m. Thursday for a reported medical emergency. Jones was declared dead at the scene of the incident.
Family published a statement just hours ago when they thanked the public for their well wishes and asked for confidentiality.
Victoria was only 34 years old.
