Winsome Earle-Sears Bashes Abigail Spanberger’s Leftist Policies, Refusal to Pull Jay Jones Endorsement

Virginia, Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earl-Sears (right), Trump approved The commonwealth governor's candidate criticized Democratic opponent Abigail Spanberger's left-leaning policies and refusal to tell Jay Jones to drop out of the attorney general race over his threatening comments toward the Republican lawmaker.

During a call with reporters Monday moderated by former White House press secretary Sean Spicer, Earl-Sears said the next 14 days before the Nov. 4 election will be “critical.”

“We will continue to emphasize [that] Democrats are led by a candidate who says she is fueled by rage. What rage, Abigail? Directed against whom and for what purpose?” Earl-Sears began by referring to comment made by Spanberger at a campaign event.

“That’s why I’ve worked tirelessly over the last four years with Governor Youngkin to ensure Virginia is a better place to live, work and raise a family,” the Republican continued, before listing one of her “core pillars” as being tougher on crime than her opponent. “Families deserve to be safe, and Abigail said her first action as governor would be to rescind Yankin's Executive Order 47, which allowed for cooperation between Virginia police officers and ICE to obtain immigration enforcement assistance. This would make Virginia a de facto sanctuary state.”

Spanberger, a former CIA agent and U.S. congresswoman, voted in lockstep with former President Joe Biden and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), supports energy policies that will “raise our cost of living,” voted for crime-mitigation legislation and wants to allow trans-identifying men into public restrooms. girls, Earl-Sears continued.

“I mean, she can't even tell if Jay Jones should drop out of the race. Are you kidding me? Are you crazy?”

Earle-Sears' latest ad campaign features clips of Spanberger. refusing to answer a simple question about whether she still supports Jones after his 2022 messages in which he fantasized about then-Virginia House Speaker Todd Gilbert (R) and the shooting of his children were revealed.

The lieutenant governor concluded her speech by calling the Democratic Party “blatantly racist.”

“You keep seeing it over and over again. They say they love people like me, but they don't. I mean, God, they called me a white supremacist. Why would they do that? I'm the one who passed a bill 20 years ago to protect us from the KKK.”

In August left protested Earle-Sears takes a stand against Arlington Public Schools' policies regarding transgender locker rooms and restrooms, holding a sign that reads, “Hey Winsome, if trans can't use your bathroom, then blacks can't use my water fountain.”

Another incident occurred over the weekend during a James Madison University football game where a man identified Scott Pogorelets, a member of “several” Democratic campaigns and an engineer at Zeta Associates, a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin, shouted a racist comment at Earl-Sears.

“Go back to Haiti!” – he shouted. “Traitor!”

Earl-Sears, a US Marine Corps veteran born in Jamaica rather than Haiti, responded to X:

“I thought Democrats were supposed to love everyone… and to be clear, I am Jamaican. But I have nowhere to go back to because America is my home,” she wrote.

Lockheed Martin representative said FOX 5 DC reported Monday that Pogorelets is “no longer employed” by Zeta Associates after the company investigated the incident.
