Trump was skeptical about the past
While Trump has expressed skepticism about UFOs in the past (he told Joe Rogan in 2024 that he has “never been a believer”), he has also expressed interest in the topic and promised “radical transparency” throughout the government.

Director Farah said that after completing work on the documentary film, which premiered in SXSW In March, he learned from “people who are in my film and sources outside of my film” that Trump “has learned the basic facts and is pushing his team to try to find out everything he needs to know so we can decide how to proceed.”
Farah added: “I know 100% that this movie is on his radar, and look, President Trump said on the campaign trail that he intends to declassify what the government knows on this topic.”
