“We approached Bob Iger and Alan Bergman and they said no,” Driver said. “They didn't see how Ben Solo survived. That's all.”
“I really enjoyed creating the film in my head,” Soderbergh said in a statement to The Associated Press. “I’m just sad the fans won’t see it.” (Representatives for Disney and Lucasfilm declined to comment, according to the AP.)
