Crowds gathered to watch ball drop from the top of a skyscraper in Times Square on New Year's Day for more than a century. IN this year's holidaysOrganizers are planning a star-studded program of entertainment featuring Diana Ross, Ciara, Maren Morris, Little Big Town and many more.
But this is not the only New Year's celebration with the participation of A-list stars. Some of Country Music's Top Stars Will Enter 2026 New Year's Eve Live on CBS: A Big Celebration in Nashville. Jason Aldean, Lainie Wilson and CeCe Winans are just a few of those taking the stage.

New Year's Eve celebrations officially begin in Times Square at 6:00 pm ET with the lighting and raising of the ball, which will drop at midnight. Famous names in the entertainment world will perform at the evening:

When will Diana Ross perform on New Year's Eve?
Legendary singer Diana Ross will perform a medley of her hits. including “I'm Coming Out” and “Upside Down” on the Times Square Countdown Stage starting at 11:37 pm ET on ABC's “Dick Clark's New Year's Eve.” Ross is the recipient of two Grammy Awards for Lifetime Achievement, one as a solo artist and one with the Motown group The Supremes, as well as a Tony Award, several American Music Awards, a Golden Globe and a Kennedy Center Honor.
When will Ciara perform on New Year's Eve?
Grammy winning singer CiaraAccording to an ABC spokesperson, the Times Square performance will air sometime between midnight and 12:30 a.m. ET on “New Year's Eve.” Twenty-one of the R&B singer's songs have charted on the Billboard Hot 100, including her 2004 hit “goodies“, which held first place for seven weeks. Earlier this year, Ciara released CiCi, her first album since 2019.
When will Little Big Town perform on New Year's Eve?
Country music group Little Big City plan to play a medley of their hits starting at 9:35 p.m. ET on “New Year's Rockin' Eve.” The band has been around for more than a quarter of a century, with 32 songs on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, including a 2014 hit.girl in love“, which was No. 1 for 13 weeks. During this time, Little Big Town was named Vocal Group of the Year six times by the Country Music Association and four times by the Academy of Country Music, and they won three Grammy Awards.
When will Maren Morris perform on New Year's Eve?
Country music star Maren Morris plans to perform a medley of his songs starting at 10:33 p.m. ET on “New Year's Rockin' Eve.” The singer-songwriter, who released her latest album “Dreamsicle” earlier this year, rose to fame with her 2016 hit “My churchThe song earned her a Grammy Award and peaked at number five on the Hot Country Songs chart.
When will Robin perform on New Year's Eve?

Who's performing on CBS' New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash?
Music stars help ring in the New Year in Nashville New Year's Eve Live on CBS: A Big Celebration in Nashville. The five-hour celebration airs from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM ET/PT and 10:30 PM to 1:30 AM ET/PT on Channel CBS Television Network and the broadcast continues Paramount+.
Jason Aldean, Laney Wilson and Bailey Zimmerman lead the celebration, with special guests CeCe Winans and the Fisk Jubilee Singers. The event will be hosted by comedian and actor Bert Kreischer and country music artist Hardy.
The Nashville event includes a midnight countdown, the city's traditional musical note raffle and fireworks, according to organizers.
