Whitney Leavitt To Make Broadway Debut After ‘DWTS’

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, who showed off her dancing skills this season on Dancing with the Stars, announced the news on Dec. 1. on Instagram that she would soon make her Broadway debut playing the role of Roxie Hart in the Ambassador Theater's Tony Award-winning revival of Chicago.

“Thankful beyond words to ANNOUNCE that I am joining @chicagomusical in the iconic role of Roxie Hart beginning February 2, 2026! See you in New York!” Leavitt wrote alongside a video of herself sitting in a chair wearing a little black dress and black stilettos (an outfit Roxy would approve of).

In the clip, Leavitt snaps his fingers while the upbeat theme song from the musical “Roxy” plays.

Leavitt will perform as Roxie Hart for a six-week limited run next year, from February 2 to March 15. poster reported.

Leavitt and her professional dance partner Mark Ballas reached the semi-finals of Week 10 of Season 34 before becoming eliminated on the November 18 episode. DVTS company.

The Utah-based reality TV star hinted that Broadway could be in her future when she was asked to promote her upcoming projects during a Nov. 26 interview on “Call her dad» podcast.

“I want to emphasize two things,” Leavitt told host Alex Cooper. “First of all, I just booked my first movie and it's really exciting.”

Leavitt didn't share the second piece of news and instead mentioned the dance routine she and Ballas performed on “DWTS.”

“What I can say is that the dance that Mark and I did on 'Dancing with the Stars' will come to life. And everyone will know about it on Monday!” she said, laughing.

Leavitt and Ballas performed an Argentine tango to “Cell Block Tango” from “Chicago” during Week 9 of the dance competition.

Leavitt follows in the footsteps of reality TV star Ariana Madix, who also got the role of Roxie Hart in the Ambassador Theatre's production of Chicago after appearing on DWTS in 2023.
