Where to watch the 2026 World Junior Championship in Canada

The World Junior Championships are back for another year, and this time they'll be taking place south of the border.

This year the tournament is taking place in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. The tournament is being held in the United States for the first time since 2018, when Canada won gold in Buffalo.

Team Prospects Michael Misa, Ben Danford, Gavin McKenna and Porter Marton, who has been named team captain, will be led by Cole Beaudoin and Harrison Brunicke as assistant captains.

Online – NCAA and OHL net goalies. Jack Ivankovic And Carter George. With the Michigan Wolverines this season, Ivankovic posted a 1.90 goals-against average, a .927 save percentage and a 16-4-0 record. George, on the other hand, has a goals against average of 3.12 and a save percentage of .899 in 22 games for the Owen Sound Attack.

Here is Team Canada's schedule:

  • Friday, December 26, 8:30 pm ET – Canada Vs. Czech Republic
  • Saturday, December 27, 4:30 pm ET – Canada vs. Latvia
  • Monday, December 29, 8:30 pm ET – Canada vs. Denmark
  • Wednesday, December 31, 8:30 pm ET – Canada vs. Finland
  • Quarterfinals: Friday, January 2, noon to 9:30 pm ET.
  • Semifinals: Sunday, January 4, 4:30 to 8:30 pm ET.
  • Bronze Medal: Monday, January 5th at 4:30 pm ET.
  • Gold Medal: Monday, January 5th at 8:30 pm ET.

Note: All playoff matchups are yet to be determined, so I have included a range of times that games will be played due to seeding and results that are yet to be determined. We will update this post as we learn the playoff matchups.

Where to watch

Again, all Junior World Cup games will be broadcast on different TSN channels, depending on their importance and team composition.

If you want subscribe to TSN+ it's only $8 per month for the duration of the tournament, and if you cancel before your monthly subscription renewal date, you'll be eligible for a refund.

If you want to get more out of your money, there is a Disney+ Crave and TSN package it can be purchased through Bell Media, which will give you two extensive streaming libraries as well as live sports.

  • Disney+ and Crave – $15.75 to $28.49.
  • Disney+ and TSN – from 25 to 32 dollars.
  • Disney+, Crave and TSN – $28.75 to $38.50.
