Where to watch College football awards show 2025: TV channel, stream, winners

The biggest stars in college football will be presented Friday at the annual College Football Awards, where more than 20 different trophies will be presented throughout the evening. Notable awards that will be presented include the Maxwell and Walter Camp awards, which honor college football's player of the year.

The finalists for the Davey O'Brien Award, given to the nation's top defensive player, are: Texas A&M's Marcel Reed, Ohio State Julian Sayin And Indiana Fernando Mendoza. Sain and Mendoza met in the Big Ten title game last weekend, and Indiana pulled off a dramatic win over Ohio State.

Sain and Mendoza are also finalists for the Heisman Trophy, which is given to the top player in the sport. Vanderbilt defender Diego Pavia And Our Lady running back Jeremiah Love also claim this honor. Love is also in the running for the Doak Walker Award, which goes to the nation's top running back.

Love will compete with Missouri Ahmad Hardy And Ole Miss' Kevan Lacey for the trophy.
