NBC's coverage of the annual New Year's Day Parade, held each year in Pasadena, California, will be anchored for the first time by TODAY co-anchor Craig Melvin.
Craig will be joined by parade veterans Hoda Kotb and Al Roker, who are returning as co-hosts for the 11th and 27th time, respectively.
NBA legend Magic Johnson will serve as grand marshal for this year's parade.
Each year, the parade is followed by the Rose Bowl Game, the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoff (CFP). This year, the Indiana Hoosiers will take on the Alabama Crimson Tide.

What is the Rose Parade?
The annual Rose Parade is a New Year's celebration that has been held in Pasadena, California since 1890.
The parade, also known as the Tournament of Roses Parade, features dozens of rose-covered floats, equestrian teams and marching bands from around the world each year.
NBC began broadcasting the parade on radio back in 1927, and in 1954 showed the parade on television for the first time, allowing viewers to see all the spectacular flower-filled floats, marching bands and other festivities.
Each year, the parade is followed by the Rose Bowl game, the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoff (CFP).
This year, the Indiana Hoosiers will take on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
