However, this is not the first time Pruett has expressed his views on submission. During June 2024 Podcast Episode, she said she found the “security” she had “craved” when she finally decided to submit to the will of God and her husband.

“It wasn’t my whining, it wasn’t my control, it wasn’t my feminist approach that gave me the security I wanted. It was in submission to God's order and God's purpose,” she said. “And by submitting to my husband as head of the family and leader of the home, I received the security I craved.”

Prewett added that she believes there is “something in our feminine nature” that makes women want to “rebel against” the idea.

“We don't want to comply,” she said. “And we have to fight that because that’s our call as wives. If you have decided to get married and have decided to build your life on the foundation of Jesus Christ, this is your call to submit to and respect your husband.”
