Having climbed to the top of the English Premier League for the third time in four seasons since Christmas, Arsenal will host Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday 27 December in a decider at Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal won three matches in a row but failed to score from open play in those games, conceding only penalties and three own goals. The Gunners recorded a stunning victory over Crystal Palace in the League Cup on Tuesday and progressed to the semi-finals 8-7 on penalties after equalizing in stoppage time.

“The profit should have been higher and we will work on that,” Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta told reporters.
Brighton are winless in four of their December matches, losing two and drawing two, including a 0-0 draw with Sunderland last time out.
