Saturday is the time to try and make friends with the local foxes. A group of people lives under the hedge near the apartment. This week I saw a big fat fox sitting in the road looking like a cross between a climbing pole and a garden gnome. I wonder if I can persuade them to gather at my window with pieces of Hovis? Anyway, any plans for the weekend? That's what we're clicking on.

I'm taking a break from Assassin's Creed Shadows to get back to the real shinobi game that makes my heart flutter – Ninja Gaiden Black 2. Naoe is cool and all, but can she do a 100 hit combo like Ryu Hayabusa? I think not! Anyway, I put Ninja Gaiden 2 aside earlier this year as all the major releases came out in February and March, and returning to its simple “beat the crap out of the demons” levels after so many open world-heavy experiences is very nice.
Callus
I fell into the comfortable rhythm of the game Hades 2 when I'm locked in and ready to experience the crushing grief of clumsily doing what I just called running, and then switch to The Outer Worlds 2 when my ego can't take it anymore. I think I'll probably continue this trend. I have a lot of ancient gods to humble, and a lot more oblivious shopkeepers to rob with the help of crabs wandering around their abandoned shops, relentlessly hunting for that one perfectly broken corner where the AI somehow inexplicably can't see me.
Ollie
We recently found out that Ollie has been secretly doing some kind of skateboarding – he's been temporarily banned from RPS while we make sure he's not going to break any furniture.
James
I'm still hidden in recently updated Stalker 2. Many of its more materialistic post-launch additions continue to elude me – a pair of night vision goggles in particular might have saved a lot of frayed nerves – but it works better, and there are clearly more NPCs roaming the Zone.

I'm visiting family this weekend, so I'll only have a little time to play on Saturday morning and Sunday evening, and I'll try to fit in a few rounds of Monsters Are Coming! Rock and road.
It's a bit like Deep Rock Galactic: SurvivorEscort Duty missions on Mortal Engine mobile cities. Instead of training through bug-infested mines, you defend a small city on wheels, which you expand with fire turrets, farmland, and barracks for summoning minions.
If I have extra time between baking orange almond cake for appetizer and cowboy stew for dinner next week, I'll be playing Kaizen: The Story of a Factory and News Tower. But it seems that both games require a little more free space than I currently have.
Edwin
Last Friday, two probably great horror games landed on my desk. I can only hope my neighbors are prepared for 12 hours of non-stop crying and screaming… before I start playing these games on Sunday. First I need to fix the leak in the bathroom.
And you, dear reader, what are you playing this weekend?…
