Gradually we are receiving more and more official information. about OnePlus 15and now we know when the flagship phone will be launched and OnePlus has also shared the other color that the device will be launched in.
According to the official OnePlus account on Weibo (by using 9to5Google), OnePlus 15 will be unveiled in full on October 27 (along with OnePlus Ace 6), at 19:00 China time. This works out to be 3am PT / 8am ET / 11am GMT / 10pm ET worldwide.
There is a caveat here: this is an official presentation specifically for China. While it should give us all the key specifications of the phone, we won't get the full global launch – including international pricing – for some time.
OnePlus confirmed the phone will arrive in the rest of the world, although we don't know exactly when. This 2024 phone's predecessor, the OnePlus 13, was unveiled in China in October, followed by a global launch in January 2025.
This is what will happen
In another official message on WeiboOnePlus also showed off the OnePlus 15 in three different colors: according to Google Translated, these are the Original Sand Dune and Absolute Black that we already expected, plus the fresh color Misty Purple.
This adds to everything we already know or think we know about this upcoming flagship – some from official OnePlus announcements trying to build hype around the phone, and some from leaks and rumors.
This is definitely will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a 165Hz screen, and the size of this display will apparently be 6.78 inches from corner to corner, making it slightly smaller than the phone it replaces.
This pipe, of course, OnePlus 13which impressed us very much. By the way, there won't be a OnePlus 14: OnePlus is skipping this number, presumably because it's considered a failure in China.
