Law enforcement officials in Providence, Rhode Island, continued their hunt for a suspect Wednesday. Brown University shooting after publishing a map of the area where, according to them, the person of interest was located. Officials are expected to hold a press conference at 4:00 pm ET to provide an update on the investigation.

Police said they are combing the Blue Zone for possible images and videos that could help in the investigation.

Earlier this week, several videos of people involved in the case were published. They show what police say are “enhanced” images taken on Providence's East Side Saturday afternoon, about two hours before the shooting.

Some of the footage posted Tuesday by the Providence Police Department on social media appeared to be digitally enhanced versions of previously released videos. Police urged anyone with information to contact the FBI hotline. online or call 401-272-3121.

“Even small details can make all the difference,” police said.

The image released earlier Tuesday, although blurry, was the clearest image of the person of interest released since Saturday's shooting. The FBI said the man is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and has a stocky build.

The FBI shared information about when the videos were taken, including some videos that appeared to be from residents' private cameras. A person of interest was seen between approximately 2pm on Saturday and 4pm, around the time the shooting occurred.

Police said the man was walking near Hope and Charity streets, just a block from the Barus and Holly engineering building, where the gunman opened fire. Authorities said Monday they had no information at this time about a motive.

Police also asked for help from the public in identifying a person seen in the vicinity of the person of interest so that they can talk to them.

The FBI suggested $50,000 reward to obtain information to identify, arrest and convict a criminal.

Amid growing questions about campus security measures and the lack of better video surveillance systems, the university released a statement Wednesday saying that while Brown has an “extensive network of surveillance cameras,” the cameras “do not extend to every hallway, classroom, lab and office in more than 250 campus buildings.”

“Brown has significantly increased security on campus in recent days, and we will be conducting an extensive, systematic security review of the entire campus. We know we live in different times,” the statement said.
