Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, a Democrat, told a group of Somalis that he hopes to visit Somalia.
The video was posted on social media on Thursday evening.
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) growing to the Minneapolis area to target illegal immigrants from Somalia after uncovering at least $1 billion in fraud. This prompted the Ministry of Finance probe allegations that some funds went to the radical Islamic terrorist group al-Shabaab. “Although I'm a little busy right now, in a few months, next year, I'd really like to visit Somalia,” Frey said. “It's been something I've wanted to do for quite a long time. But to be there with my friends, to be there together. Walla – walla yalla? Walla yalla. Walaalaayal. Walaalaayal, my – my brothers and sisters. I'm learning.”

He also said the influx of refugees had “destroyed our country.” Waltz stated that white men commit the majority of crimes when asked Friday whether Somali crooks would be brought to justice.
