It's a big day for Nintendo. The publisher has just released its latest financial report, which reveals some interesting facts about how the company is doing.
And also a short summary remarkable sales figures for Switch 2and the revelation that Switch has now sold as many units as Nintendo DS (making it Nintendo's best-selling console ever), the publisher also confirmed release dates for five of its upcoming first-person games, as well as confirming release dates for four more games.
Given that one of the main criticisms of Nintendo Switch 2 in that “there are no games in it” you can understand why Nintendo is keen to correct the narrative and remind us that there is a good selection of games in development.
According to the report, here are all the upcoming Switch 2 games listed by Nintendo, along with their release dates or windows:

Let's dive into some of them: Firstly, we have Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment Musou style game coming out this week acts as a prequel of sorts to events Tears of the Kingdom. It's not a “full” Zelda game, but I expect it to do reasonably well in the run-up to Christmas.
Next, there is Kirby Air Riderswhich has gotten a lot of attention lately thanks to its fair share of dedicated Nintendo Directs channels. Our own Alex described it this way: “a bright attack on the senses, when, as soon as you withdraw into yourself, the magic breaks out“.
Eat Metroid Prime 4too, which was the subject of much speculation before he succeeded in securing exact release date. My favorite part of this saga was the big release window leak, courtesy of checks notes London Underground.
Otherwise, we're seeing game releases that are Switch 2 versions of well-received Switch games – The Miracle of Super Mario Bros. – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Both versions of Nintendo Switch 2 Edition fall into this category.
It's worth noting that these are just the first games planned for Switch 2 in the coming months: there are also plenty of third-party games on the way, the most notable of which is perhaps Elden Ring for Switch 2, which recently launched. significant delay to an unspecified date.
