Take back your freedom in VR Giants
Risa Interactive has announced that VR Giants, the popular asymmetrical co-op VR puzzle platformer, is coming to the Meta Quest platform. Since its Early Access debut on Steam, the game has won the hearts of players around the world thanks to its inventive mechanics and cooperative gameplay. Now a long-time fan desire is becoming a reality: a full-fledged Meta Quest release that will allow both players to fully enjoy the game in virtual reality, including playing David in a platformer for the first time.
In VR Giants, players take on the roles of Goliath, a massive VR giant, and David, a small but nimble companion. Together, they must overcome a series of puzzles, dangers and challenges in a variety of biomes, including icy landscapes, scorching deserts, volcanic regions and lush grasslands. The game emphasizes teamwork and trust as players must combine their unique abilities to progress.
Wolfgang Chauko, founder and lead developer of Risa Interactive, shared: “Bringing VR Giants to Quest opens up the opportunity for even more players to experience the magic of this unique co-op adventure. For the first time, both players can immerse themselves in virtual reality, making even playing David in a platformer a truly immersive experience.”
The game features 23 hand-crafted levels designed to encourage collaboration, as well as three unique Goliath forms: solid, temporary, and lava. Players can expect approximately eight hours of gameplay filled with inventive puzzles and cooperative fun. As you progress, unlockable cosmetic items for both characters add an extra layer of customization to the adventure.
Coming to Meta Quest, VR Giants promises to deliver a fully immersive two-player co-op experience that combines clever puzzle solving and engaging platforming in a visually rich virtual world. This expansion of the game ensures that new players and longtime fans alike can step into the shoes of Goliath and David, experiencing the thrill of this asymmetrical partnership like never before.
