Students lined up in the cold and rain at the University of Mississippi to attend the US stop of Turning Point's “This is the Turning Point” tour. Speakers at the event included Vice President J.D. Vance and Charlie Kirk's widow, Erica Kirk, who is now CEO of TPUSA.
The crowd that began to form early in the morning near the pavilion in Ole Missspread across campus as students wore MAGA hats and “Freedom” shirts in honor of those killed Founder of Turning Point.

Fox News Digital spoke with event attendees about why they attended and shared their support for the Vice President and TPUSA.
“This is truly a unique opportunity,” shared Ole Miss student Nicholas.
“We honor Charlie Kirk and his message to the world and I think it's really important as a student to stand up for what you believe in, that's why I'm here and we're standing in the rain,” another student shared.

“I’m here because I joined the club at the beginning of the school year and I just want to support the movement,” Gill said.
“I’m so excited to see J.D. Vance and Erica,” Grant said.
“We are all very excited to see J.D. Vance. He could be the next president,” Jack said.
TPUSA spokesman Andrew Colvet reported on X that more than half the student body was in the room, writing, “OVER HALF of the students (14,000 of 27,000 students) registered for today's event (along with the 13,000 adults we were unable to accommodate).”
