I think miHoYo just has too much money. Somehow they have another game coming up called Varsapura, another anime-like one. open world action game, this time in the form of psychic incidents. As many have noted, it has a vague Control-like quality to it, at least in the lengthy gameplay demo that was recently shown off.
The atmosphere and atmosphere are admittedly quite strong, something miHoYo has always done well. In the gameplay demo, a bizarre government-style building bends and transforms into something surreal and abstract, while enemies that look like office workers turn into shadowy monsters.
The plot explains it all this way: the titular Warsapura is a strange space that one can enter, with the main character's appearance changing “according to the preferences of each viewer. The origin of this parapsychological effect remains unknown.” There is an organization called SEAL, or Shadow Emergency Alliance, whose player character appears at their headquarters (the aforementioned government building) in a particularly Control-like intro.
There's also combat, which honestly, once you've played one miHoYo game, you've played all of them. These are all brightly animated combinations that allow you to switch between different characters, which at first glance is not so significant. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to watch, the vibe is similar to those videos of fruit and vegetable pieces singing that rot babies' brains. I also wish psychic policewomen were allowed to wear pants, it's not like the job they do really requires a miniskirt.
Overall, not much is known about Warsapura yet, other than the fact that it will be released on PC. For now, you'll just have to keep an eye on the release date.
