One of the disadvantages of basing your hack 'n slash roguelike on mythology is that you eventually run out of mythos. At least that's the case with Lionheart and Valhalla Survival, as this time the eighth chapter takes players to the watery world of Southern Vanaheim!
Of course, doing something a little original is not bad at all. And I'm no expert, but I'd say that Valhalla Survival's flashy action doesn't always live up to Norse folklore. Set in an underwater city created by their own divine race, this new chapter offers new ways to fight underwater.
You can also show off your survival skills in a new way with the Stage Survival Journal. This means that even if you die in a stage, you will be able to display your survival time. You'll also find that the Defense of the Territory and Forgotten Golden Temple dungeons have additional content to explore.
Under the sea
If you want to demonstrate your skills in a different way, you can take part in the Synergy Transcendence Skills Referral Event. It will run from November 14th to 18th on the official Valhalla Survival social media channels.
To enter, all you have to do is leave your preferred set of skill combinations in the comments (hint, hint: check out our List of survival skill levels in Valhalla some tips). Good or bad, it doesn't matter because your troubles will earn you some sweet in-game rewards, including a Glory Gem Challenge Ticket and a Box of Hero Growth Stones!
