His short NFL career is the complete opposite of his college career: he went 2-11 at Jacksonville after an astounding 187-32 record in the college ranks.
Several highly advertised vacancies are available on the site Penn StateLSU and Meyer's former employer in Florida. But don't expect Meyer to return to the field.

Meyer was asked from WSYX whether he had any thoughts about returning to coaching, and his answer was short and concise.
“I have no desire.”
Meyer actually endorsed OSU assistant Brian Hartline, of whom he has “always” been a “huge…fan.”
“You just need experience. I'm glad he stayed here. He had a chance to go and he learned from us and learned from the coach.” [Ryan] Day. So I think he's ready,” he said.
