Under Par Golf Architect Joins the Cozy Quest Festival With a Demo

Design and management at Under Par Golf Architect

Broken Arms Games has announced that its upcoming creative game Under Par Golf Architect will be debuting a free-to-play demo on Steam starting today as part of this year's Cozy Quest festival. The studio is positioning the game as a blend of tycoon strategy and open-ended creativity, giving players the opportunity to build a complete golf destination from the ground up.

In Under Par Golf Architect, players take on the role of club designer and manager, shaping every element of the course. This experience focuses on modeling terrain, planning hole layouts, and making many of the small decisions that help a golf course become a thriving destination. According to Yves Holer, co-founder and creative director of Broken Arms Games, opening the demo to the public is an important step towards gathering community knowledge and improving the overall user experience.

The demo offers an in-depth look at the creative tools and game progress. It features three mission levels: Par, Birdie and Eagle, each built around different objectives that encourage players to experiment with layout ideas and control approaches. Players can assemble various structures to support their course and use eight types of terrain, including grass, sand, mud and water, to form environments with distinct character. This early release also marks the first time players can test their own course designs, allowing them to play each hole and then adjust it based on how it performs.

In addition, the game will also be featured at the Cozy Quest Steam festival, running from November 17 to 24, where its creative tools will be available for the first time.
