The Canadian from Montreal looked nothing like the team that racked up points at breakneck speed in St. Louis on Saturday afternoon.
Martin St. Louis' men lost to the Blues with a score of 2:0.
This is the first match since the start of a long seven-match trip abroad in which CH has not picked up a single point. This was the sixth meeting of this series on the road.

Jacob Fowler found himself back in front of the Canadian goal in this showdown presented at the Enterprise Centre.
The American gave way to Samuel Montembeault and Jakub Dobes in fights against the Florida Panthers (Tuesday) and Carolina Hurricanes (Thursday).
If not for Fowler's talent, the Habs would have trailed by several goals after 20 minutes against the Blues.
Instead, Blue Blanc Rouge retreated to the locker room trailing 1-0 after the first period. Jonathan Berggren opened the scoring after Zachary Bolduc passed the puck to his former teammates in the defensive zone.
Fowler could not do anything about the second goal of the crowd's favorite. Due to poor control, Robert Thomas jumped back and scored short-handed in the second period.
During this defeat, the masked Canadian stopped 17 goals.
In front of the Blues' cage, Jordan Binnington pitched a 25-save shutout. this is his 19e End of NHL career. His best moments came in the second period, when CH played five against three for a long time, and also in the final moments of the confrontation, when the opponents removed Fowler in favor of a sixth skater.
Moreover, the Habs were beaten on the power play four times.
The Canadian will return to action this Sunday afternoon. Martin St. Louis' men will face the Stars in Dallas in the last match of their trip, where they have now collected eight points out of a possible twelve.
