London set for a wet but extremely mild start to the week as weather Heavy rain and high wind warnings will be in effect across the region. Wales and southwest England.
After a dry start to Monday, the capital is expected to see some rain as temperatures rise to 14C.

However, the weather is expected to be much more severe in the south west and Wales, where a yellow warning for high winds is in place from 10pm Monday until 4pm Tuesday.
It said transport networks could face disruption with delays for high-sided vehicles on open routes and bridges, as well as coastal roads and embankments affected by splash and large waves.
Power outages are also possible.
A yellow rain warning has been issued for a slightly larger area stretching east into Hampshire and Oxfordshire from 6pm Monday until 6pm Tuesday, with the possibility of flooding for homes and businesses and a warning that some communities may be cut off.
Another rain warning is in place for north-west England from midnight Tuesday until 3pm, while a wind warning has been issued for north-west Scotland from 3pm Tuesday until 10am Wednesday.
Met Office said: “There may be fast currents or deep flooding, creating a danger to life.”
The latest warnings follow a yellow warning for heavy rain in Northern Ireland on Sunday.
Twelve flood warnings were issued across England in the early hours of Monday morning.

Wind gusts of up to 40mph hit parts of the south coast on Saturday night. Firefighters in Seaford, East Sussex, called to reports that the roof and garage door had come off due to strong winds.
Met Office Deputy Chief Meteorologist Dan Holley said: “Whilst there is some uncertainty about the exact direction and intensity of the area of low pressure that will move close to western Scotland later on Tuesday, many parts of the UK are likely to see periods of rain which, given saturated soils, could lead to flooding and delays to road and rail travel.
“In addition, strong winds are expected, especially in northern and western areas. We are closely monitoring developments and may issue warning updates as the situation develops.”
The Met Office forecast for the rest of December remains uncertainwith further periods of low pressure forecast.
Meteorologists said it was too early to give an accurate forecast for the Christmas period.
