U.S., Japan agree to maximize diplomatic pressure on North Korea

Tokyo – On Tuesday, US diplomats and Japanese diplomats agreed to maximize pressure on North Korea in order to resolve tension in relation to their nuclear program, referring to the need to be prepared for the worst if diplomacy does not pass.

The Deputy State Secretary of the United States John Sullivan, having met his Japanese colleague, Shinsuk -Sugiyama, told reporters that there is still diplomacy in the State Department to solve the problem and ultimately denominate the Korean peninsula.
