EDMONTON — Hilary Knight scored twice, including into an empty net, to lead the United States to a 4-1 victory over Canada in a Rivalry Series women's hockey game Saturday.
The USA won the four-game series and outscored Canada 24–6.
Defenders Caroline Harvey and Layla Edwards also scored goals, and Taylor Heise had two assists for Team USA and finished with a series-best eight assists.
Aerin Frankel stopped 23 shots against the United States.
Brianna Jenner scored and goalkeeper Anne-Renee Debien made 28 saves for Team Canada.
The USA won the first three games by scores of 4–1 in Cleveland, 6–1 in Buffalo, New York, and 10–4 in Edmonton.
