Two Arrested Following Mass Stabbing on London-Bound Train

Two people have been arrested after a mass stabbing on a London-bound train that left several people hospitalized on Saturday night.

UPDATE 2300: Witness said Sky News reported that one of the suspects was a black man wearing a black hoodie and armed with a “quite large knife.” According to eyewitnesses, about 12 people were injured as a result of the attack. Police have not yet confirmed any of these details.

Dozens of armed police were deployed to Huntingdon station in Cambridgeshire after receiving reports that several passengers had been stabbed.

One witness on board the London-bound LNER train said there was “blood everywhere”.

A witness who saw a man with a large knife added that people tried to hide in toilets while others panicked and fled the scene.

“I heard some people shout that we love [you]”, said the witness.
