There are many questions to answer for 1-6. Miami Dolphinsbut one of them was why Jaylen Waddle, the Dolphins' leading receiver without Tyreek Hill on the field for the rest of the season, didn't see much action in Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Defender Tua Tagovailoa There's an answer, and it's one that Dolphins fans probably don't want to hear.
“I think part of it is being able to see the guys, their guys up front, and our guys,” Tagovailoa told reporters Tuesday.
“I’m not the tallest guy in the back either. So being able to see, and sometimes when that happens, you don't want to just throw the ball blind and you have to progress. So, I think that has some merit in explaining why this happened to Waddle.”

It's no secret that, at 6-foot-1, Tagovailoa isn't the tallest quarterback in the world. NFL. But it's another thing to admit he can't see his receivers during games.
That may be true, but it's clear that being able to see your offensive weapons is key for any quarterback. However, Tagovailoa has targeted the 5-foot-10 Waddle just four times in a 31-6 season. beating on the road. He caught just one pass for 15 yards.

Waddle hasn't had as many targets and catches in a game since Week 14 against the Houston Texans last season. In that game, Waddle failed to catch a single ball and was targeted only twice, although he suffered a knee injury.
But Tagovailoa struggled all day for the Dolphins, and the Browns defense intercepted three passes and limited Tagovailoa to 12 completions for 100 yards in the loss.

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel has Tagovailoa working with his teammates like a well-oiled machine, but getting consistent minutes every week has proven difficult this season.
McDaniel noted Tuesday that he and Tagovailoa had a 90-minute meeting the day before that he called “great.”
“I think with Tua there is no uncertainty as far as my conviction in him and my faith in him,” McDaniel told reporters. “We both really want to do better in our jobs, we are both very dedicated and trust each other to respond to what is needed to make the team perform better.”

The 27-year-old quarterback leads the NFL in interceptions this season with 10 passes to 11. He has thrown for 1,313 yards on a 67.8% completion rate.
