Part of Mar-a-Lago's Thanksgiving celebration in honor of the Trump family included President Trump addressing members of the U.S. military to show support for their hard work and the sacrifices they make every day for the American people.
Like RedState reportedOn a somber note during the call, Trump shared the heartbreaking news that 20-year-old Sarah Beckstrom, one of two National Guard members shot and killed in terrorist attack on Wednesday in Washington, D.C., tragically died from her injuries.
“She just passed away. She is no longer with us,” he said. “She’s looking down on us now. Her parents are with her.”
During the event, Trump also spoke with reporters about the suspected attacker, 29-year-old Afghan national Rahmanullah Lakanwala, and Trump's announcement Wednesday night that all Afghans who came to the country under former President Joe Biden, especially those admitted after the deadly 2021 troop withdrawal from Afghanistan, must be retested.

Trump also revealed more information on Venezuela's future plans:
The United States will begin taking action “very soon” to interdict suspected Venezuelan drug traffickers on land, US President Donald Trump said on Thursday.
“You've probably noticed that people don't want to ship goods by sea, and we'll start stopping them by land as well. It’s easier on land, but it will start very soon,” Trump said, speaking virtually with US military personnel.
