President Donald Trump used his Christmas Eve post on the social network Pravda to tout his administration's accomplishments and criticize those on the left he accused of trying to “destroy” the United States.
“Merry Christmas to everyone, including the radical leftist scum who are doing everything they can to destroy our country and failing,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “We no longer have open borders, men in women's sports, transgender people for everyone, or weak law enforcement. What we have is a record stock market and 401K, the lowest crime rate in decades, no inflation, and yesterday GDP was 4.3, two points higher than expected.”
“Tariffs have given us trillions of dollars of growth and prosperity, and the strongest national security we've ever had. We are respected again, perhaps more than ever before. God bless America!!!,” the president added.
In the first year of Trump's second term, the administration launched a major campaign. fight against illegal immigrationintroduced controversial tariffs, worked to cut DEI from government programs and took steps to fulfill other campaign promises.

The Department of Homeland Security announced Wednesday that it has arrested 17,500 illegal alien criminals since Trump signed the Laken Riley Act in January 2025. DHS announcementThe department released a ranking of the “Worst of the Worst Criminal Illegal Aliens of 2025,” saying that 70% of all ICE arrests are of illegal immigrants “convicted or charged with crimes in the United States.”
Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem In his statement on the passage of the Laken Riley Act, he said that “President Trump has authorized us to arrest and deport millions of violent criminal illegal aliens brought into the United States by the previous administration. Now these criminals will be brought to justice and expelled from our country.”
Trump's post on the social network “Christmas Truth” about the achievements of his administration was also supported by recent economic data. On Tuesday, the Bureau of Economic Analysis released its initial GDP estimate for the third quarter, which showed the economy grew at an annual rate of 4.3% in the three-month period that included July, August and September.

“Compared with the second quarter, the acceleration of real GDP in the third quarter reflected a smaller decline in investment, an acceleration consumer spendingand growth in exports and government spending. Imports fell less in the third quarter,” the BEA said.
While the President issued a strongly worded statement about Truth Social on Christmas Eve, his official Christmas message was softer and more focused on the meaning of the holiday and the season.
In a statement released by the White House on Thursday, Trump and the first lady Melania Trump conveyed their warm wishes to Americans, while emphasizing the religious significance of Christmas.

“The First Lady and I send our warmest wishes to all Americans as we share the joy of Christmas and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” the statement said.
Trump went on to recount the biblical story of Jesus' birth in Bethlehem, calling it “a perfect expression of God's boundless love and His desire to be close to His people.” The President then tied the story to the founding principles of the United States.
“For nearly 250 years, the principles of faith, family and freedom have remained at the center of our way of life. As President, I will never waver in defending the fundamental values that make America the greatest country in the history of the world, and we will always remain one nation under God.”

The President also paid tribute to American military personnel who are overseas and unable to spend the holiday with their families. Trump thanked them for their service and sacrifice and their dedication to protecting Americans.
“We are grateful for their dedication and keep them and their loved ones in our hearts.”
Trump concluded his official message with a prayer for peace in the United States and around the world, wishing Christmas to Americans and the world.
“During the Christmas season, we pray for the outpouring of God's steadfast love, divine mercy and everlasting peace upon our country and the world,” he said. “To every American and those celebrating around the world, we wish you a Merry Christmas!”
