Montreal Victory continued its losing streak on Friday in New York.
The club from the Quebec metropolis lost to the Sirens with a score of 4:3. This is the third game in a row that head coach Corey Chevery's players have lost.

La Victoire was left without goalkeeper Anne-Rene Debien. Therefore, Sandra Abstriter defended the guests' cage. The latter gave up four times out of 21 throws.
The winning goal came in the third period when Paetin Levis made it 4–2.
Natalia Mlynkova reduced the gap with 25 seconds left in the final period, but it was too little, too late.
Pobeda's other top scorers were Laura Stacy and Marie-Philip Poulin. The captain also thought she had scored a brace, but saw her second goal disallowed in the third period. The officials ruled her stick was too high when she knocked the puck behind goaltender Cale Osborne.
Anna Bargman, Christine O'Neill and Christina Kaltunkova were the other Sirens players who thwarted Abstreiter.
The match also marked the return of forward Jade Downey-Landry to the game. The woman, who signed with Victoria last offseason, missed her new team's first seven games of the 2025-26 season with an upper-body injury.
Victory will look to snap their losing streak on Sunday when they host Minnesota Frost at Place Bell.
