Trois ans après une chirurgie aux cordes vocales, Jon Bon Jovi est prêt à repartir sur la route… sans Richie Sambora

The wait for Bon Jovi fans is almost over. Three years after Jon Bon Jovi's vocal cord surgery, the New Jersey band announced they will hit the road again in the summer of 2026. But this new tour will likely be without one of its legendary members.

It is at Madison Square Garden in New York that Bon Jovi will begin his new world tour next July. The band have also announced dates in Edinburgh, Dublin and London.

“There is a lot of joy in this announcement – the joy of sharing these evenings with our incredible fans and the joy of reuniting with the band,” Jon Bon Jovi said in a statement.

“I've often spoken about my gratitude, but I'll say it again: I'm deeply grateful to the fans and brotherhood of the band who have been patient and allowed me to take the time needed to heal and prepare for the tour. I'm ready and excited!”

The singer underwent surgery in 2022 and chronicled his recovery in a documentary series. Thank You, Good Night: The Bon Jovi Story.

Without Sambora

Since the announcement of this new tour, several fans of the band have taken to social media saying they hope to see Richie Sambora on stage.

The legendary guitarist was part of the band from 1983 to 2013 before announcing he was leaving to focus on his family. In 2018, he returned to the stage with Bon Jovi during the band's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

According to TMZ, fans hoping for Sambora's return are mistaken. Because, according to “well-informed sources,” such a meeting “will never take place.” Richie Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi are reportedly “getting along pretty well these days,” but the guitarist will not be returning to the stage with the band. “This chapter in the band's history is completely closed,” says TMZ.

Album released today Forever (Legendary Edition) represents a “reinterpretation” Foreverreleased in 2024. Due to problems with his voice, Jon Bon Jovi decided to ask the artists to share the microphone. Bruce Springsteen, Jelly Roll, Joe Elliott (Def Leppard), Robbie Williams and Avril Lavigne, to name a few, accepted the invitation.
