President Donald Trump just returned from a trip to Asia, where he struck several major trade deals with China, South Korea and other countries in the region. Meanwhile, the party of Argentine President Javier Miley Freedom advances (Freedom Advances) tripled its congressional representation Sunday following the country's midterm elections, giving it a resounding boost and more power to push through its agenda.

None of this pleased left-leaning Democratic senators, and some of them were apparently busy hounding Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent with their complaints. In one of the most brutal attacks I have ever seen, Bessent told them exactly what he thought of them and the work they were doing.
Specifically naming Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, he said they were “losers” who should be doing something positive, like reopening the government, rather than buzzing around it like angry mosquitoes:
.@StWarren And @SenAmyKlobuchar: you are losers.
You failed to derail the electoral success of one of our great allies in Latin America, President @JayMiley. He won in a landslide when the poorest members of society voted for economic freedom—specifically, the idea of anathema… pic.twitter.com/Q6bOQFDKBI

He won in a landslide, with the poorest members of society voting for economic freedom—an anathema concept, in particular, to the Senate's resident American Peronist, Senator Warren.
Whoa boy, call an ambulance.

Javier Miley approaches election victory and sends a new appeal to moderates
The Minister of Finance responded to Democrats' claims that he doesn't care about the needs of ordinary Americans:

Bessent's comments come after a group of lawmakers sent him a letter Monday accusing him of prioritizing foreign governments over American farmers, as the administration claims. weighs financial aid measures China planned to cut soybean imports amid tense tariff negotiations.
On Thursday, the minister told FOX Business reporter Maria Bartiromo that China had agreed to buy 12 million metric tons of soybeans “during this season,” which he indicated would be until January, and said he expected the country to buy at least 25 million metric tons of soybeans each year for the next three years.
Bessent didn't like this and tweeted that they should look in the mirror if they want to see who is really hurting American farmers:
As the attached photo shows [shown in the above tweet], @POTHUS is in Asia, showing what successful American leadership looks like. Today's announcement following his meeting with President Xi Jinping will be a resounding victory for our great farmers.
Bessent, however, was just warming up, and he sharply criticized the pair for the Democrats' pathetic and desperate refusal to vote for a clean continuing resolution and reopen the government they have now shut down for 30 days with their Schumer shutdown.
Bessent:
While I know this will be heartbreaking for you, please refocus your staff away from writing rambling letters to me and others and instead work to open the government. If you decide to further add to your legacy of failure by voting to shut down the government for the upcoming Thanksgiving, ruining the first day of travel for American families, you should both be ashamed.

Klobuchar responded with a scathing tweet, but it didn't have the wow factor of Bessent. Like California Governor Gavin Newsom, who press account this clumsy attempt to make the perpetually coiffed governor sound like Trump, it just doesn't work.
Good morning, Mr. Minister of Finance! I hope you've gotten some sleep since you sent the attachment. At first I thought to myself, “Wow, this must be a fake account, considering your really important job and all.” But no, it's really you. DOUBLE WOW! Since you and I didn't have… https://t.co/6ZEiG9JssL pic.twitter.com/igSJv0KX9n

Since you and I haven't had any public or private personal “BEEF” (Argentinian or otherwise), perhaps it's just your jet lag from all the overseas travel.
There's more to her tweet, but you can probably guess a lot of what she's saying (hint: it's mostly a list of complaints). She attached a photo of the nearly empty House of Representatives, as if it were some great “property,” as if the closure was his fault.
Newsflash Senator Klobuchar: That's not true. Democrats may vote to reopen government tonight if they so wished. Your party owns this shutdown.
Meanwhile, it must be hard to watch your opponent score so many victories when all you can do is wail pitifully. However, my advice to you is to stop fighting with Scott Bessent. Things aren't going well for you.

In case that wasn't enough for you, Bessent left a little note that said something like “Bless your heart”:
“PS I am pleased to inform you both that the Argentine economic bridge has now brought benefits to the American people,” Bessent wrote. “While 'profit' is a private sector word that you both may not be familiar with, I urge you to put your previous experience behind the scenes along with the Biden Administration's automatic push to bankrupt the US government.”
Remind me never to tick off Scott Bessent.

Editor's note: Schumer's completion is here. Instead of putting the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the Radical Democrats forced the government to shut down health care to illegal immigrants. They own it.
