Top 5 Video Games Coming in November 2025
It feels like 2025 has been month after month of crazy video game releases. November is usually one of the craziest months of the year, but in 2025 it's actually relatively slow. Three major releases dominate the top three this month. But the other two are former PC/Xbox exclusives that first released on PS5. Our second choice this month is Terminator 2D: No Fate. It is a 2D side-scrolling game whose release was delayed several times. Hopefully the November 2025 release date remains the same this time around. 5. STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl (PS5) – November 20
STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl is a first-person shooter and survival horror game released exclusively for Xbox/PC in 2024. The game was announced in 2011, but it took 13 years to finally see a release. Reviews were mixed upon launch, but the game received numerous patches after launch, including a day one patch that was almost as big as the base game. We don't usually include a year-old game on a list like “The 5 Best Video Games Coming in November 2025,” but this month the selection of big games is slim.
4. Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition (PS5) – November 4
Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition is the fourth game in the long-running real-time strategy series. It was released on PC in 2021, ported to Xbox in 2023. PlayStation owners will finally be able to play it in 2025. Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition is something of a throwback to the RTS games of yesteryear, but fans of the genre aren't getting many new major base games. This is the second of two PS5 games to make the top five for the first time in November 2025. There is a big gap between fourth and third place this month.
