Top-4: Leafs fans celebrate Jays win at Scotiabank Arena

There were four games in the NHL last night. We already know that the Leafs got the better of the Habs.. Here are the results and highlights from other games:

1. Leafs fans celebrate Jay's victory at Scotiabank ArenaOf course, in Toronto the fans wanted their team to win over the Canadiens. But the Torontonians there knew there was another big game coming up involving one of their teams: the Blue Jays. Toronto can eliminate the Yankees and reach the Association Finals. What that's exactly what the Jays didwith a 5-2 victory. And at Scotiabank Arena, fans celebrated this event.First, they celebrated when Nathan Lux hit a single to give the Jays a three-run lead. And they also celebrated late in the game when Jeff Hoffman made a save. Well done to the Leafs for bringing the game to the big screen.

John Schneider's troupe will face the winner of Game 5 between the Mariners and Tigers. The Raptors also won, scoring a hat trick for Toronto.

2. Jack Roslovic will regret his decision to join Edmonton.During the Oilers-Flames game, Elliott Friedman reported some news about Jack Roslovic: The Oilers and his team have begun negotiations. A few minutes later, the informant told us that Roslovic had finally signed. I think he was convinced by Edmonton's two goals in the first period and the 2-0 lead.

At one point in the game, the Oilers even led 3–0. Leon Draisaitl tripled the lead with his 400th career goal.

And now you've seen my subhead: Roslovic must have regretted his contract as the hosts lost the penalty shootout 4-3.

Calgary never gave up. Firstly, Matvey Gridin scored his first goal in the NHL.

And with a draw, Evan Bouchard and Stuart Skinner looked confused. Not for the first time.

3. Jack Eichel celebrates his new contract with four pointsYesterday, Jack Eichel signed a monster eight-year, $13.5 million-per-year contract with the Golden Knights, which was celebrated that same night against the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings may have beaten the Knights in a shootout, 6-5, but the American had one goal and three assists.

The chemistry with Mitch Marner looks… right there.

But the man who outshone Eichel and Marner was Quinton Byfield. The man who shook Wayne Gretzky's hand before the game ended with a goal and an assist.

Marner finished his first game for his new team with two assists, but was stopped by Anton Forsberg in the shootout, giving the Kings the victory.

4. The Bruins beat the defending President's Cup champions. In Washington, the defending President's Cup champion Capitals faced the Boston Bruins. We know this won't be Boston's best season, despite the 3-1 win, and it started off very poorly.

Humphus Lindholm almost scored an own goal.

David Pastrnak led the Boston attack, scoring a point on all three of his goals. Firstly, he scored the first goal of the season.

He then fed Elias Lindholm and Morgan Geekie their first goals of the new campaign.

This is the first NHL victory for new head coach Marco Sturm.
