Thunderobot has started to gain momentum ahead of CES 2026, confirming the arrival of another system based on AMDRyzen AI Max+ 395 CPU.
Dubbed Thunderobot Station, the device is shaped like a compact cubic desktop computer rather than the traditional tower or laptop format.
This announcement complements growing list Ryzen AI Max+ 395-based devices expected to appear at the show, suggesting wider adoption of this generation of APUs by vendors.

From the official teaser published on Thunderobot Weibo handle (Original in Chinese) Thunderobot Station includes a number of ports on the front panel for easy access.
It features two standard USB-A ports, one USB-C port, an SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The round power button is located above the ports, allowing you to quickly perform operations without touching the case.
Its cube-shaped body has a volume of approximately 3 liters, making it easy to integrate into limited desk space.
The design also assumes that the device will be able to maintain sufficient airflow for the processor and internal components.
What remains unclear is how far Thunderobot intends to push the platform in practical terms.
The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 can support higher operating levels than most mobile-class systems, but this advantage is only realized if the system configuration allows it.
