HARRY! I've reached the top!
It's time for the annual Christmas movie season, and that means timeless classics like Elf, A Christmas Story, and, of course, Home alone movies.
I believe in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York superiority, but I also think Home Alone 3 damn underrated (sizzling hot option, I know). In any case, this new game, which will be released in early 2026, is described as “Home alone-inspired” and there are a few betas coming to celebrate, and after a quick look at the gameplay I was very interested.

The game is called Bandit trapand it's a three-on-one game where three players play as bandits trying to rob a house, while one robot defends the place with traps and chaos. Hell yes.
“Each match is an unpredictable and comedic competition: burst through walls, flood rooms, or even freeze the floors of entire houses in your pursuit of victory,” reads a new press release. “Trappers can use creative gadgets to throw or flatten bandits, while bandits swing and weave through the chaos to capture their loot and escape unharmed. With destructible environments and fast-paced gameplay, no match will be the same.”
It has a silly art style and fun character designs, and I'm sure setting traps will be difficult and challenging when you're up against three other players. But honestly? I don't know if I have the courage to test a friendship, which will probably end in a disastrous altercation with some people I know.
Either way, the gameplay teaser below shows what Bandit Trap is all about, and I think it has some potential to be the next bonanza for multiplayer with friends when it releases in a couple of months.
You can request access become part of the upcoming Bandit trap tests on Steam, one from November 27 to 30, and another from December 5 to 7, before launching on PC and consoles on February 6, 2026.
