A CPU cooler doesn't have to be expensive to be great. If you have a hot processor, ID-COOLING FROZN A620 PRO SE that's all you really need. This is a massive air cooler with dual 120mm fans that does a great job of cooling your modern AMD Ryzen or Intel processor without spending too much money.

Dual tower designs are not common in this price range, and this is one of several factors that contribute to the A620 PRO SE's excellent cooling performance.

The split design of the heatsink along with six 6mm copper heatpipes and base ensures excellent heat dissipation, and the fan located between them is in an ideal location to move large amounts of hot air away from the cooler. You can even add a third fan at the back for even better cooling efficiency, as long as your I/O ports aren't too tall—not that you'll need that many fans.

This $30 Cooler Proves That High-Performance Chips Don't Require Liquid Cooling

Who knew $30 could buy you this much cooling power?

While the included ID-COOLING fans aren't as quiet as some high-end models from Noctua and be quiet!, they're still pretty quiet while delivering excellent cooling performance. In fact, it's hard to find a cooler that performs as well even if you double your CPU cooler budget.

Realistically speaking, the A620 PRO SE is all most people will ever need. With a 260W TDP, it won't have any trouble handling even the hottest processors (even those spicy 14th-gen Intel chips). Plus, unlike a liquid cooler, there are no extra parts like a water pump that will break down over time or fittings that can start leaking without warning.

With a height of 157mm and 40mm of RAM space available, the A620 PRO SE can fit into most builds. However, you should always double check these measurements before completing the assembly to ensure you don't run into any problems with the installation. For tall RAM sticks, you can move the front fan up to accommodate RAM up to 63mm tall.

It's worth noting that the fans on this $30 cooler don't have RGB, which is totally fine if your PC parts are too shiny. The sleek all-black cooler and plastic trim covering the top of the heatsink will look great in most PC builds.

However, if this is an obstacle for you, there are $40 version of this cooler It comes with two ARGB fans that can be synchronized via the RGB header on the motherboard.

The closest competitor is the company Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE. The A620 PRO SE beats it in most online tests, but is also slightly cheaper and, in my opinion, offers significantly better looks. All in all, it’s hard to go wrong with the ID-COOLING FROZN A620 PRO SE.
