The Winnipeg Blue Bombers' home Gray Cup hopes were dashed on Saturday. when they lost to the Montreal Alouettes 42–33 in the Eastern semi-finals..
The loss ended a streak of five straight CFL championship games that began in 2019. Although the Blue Bombers still posted a 10–8 record in 2025, it was their worst finish in the standings since 2015.
Franchise quarterback Zach Collaros remains under contract through 2026, although other notable names are locked in. Change appears to be on the horizon for Bomberland, at least of some magnitude, as the team looks to return to the Gray Cup next year.
