Rethinking the spaces that unite us
How are the places where we are going to influence how we communicate? From housing to green spaces, from public libraries to digital forums – the environment environment plays a vital role in strengthening the affiliation and community.
At the Walrus Talks at Home: Place and Belonging event, four expert-spikers will share their unique views on how the spaces that we design and in which we invest can strengthen our social structure. In this virtual speech, we will consider the problems and advantages of creating and maintaining “third spaces” (social environment outside the house and work) and consider responsibility for creating places that unite us and serve our communities.
Join us online on November 4 for the evening of ideas and inspiration about how the environment that we create today can give a general sense of belonging to future generations.
The speakers will be declared later.
